Ken Hales was a good friend through our common membership, during the past five or so years, of Claremont Baptist where he sometimes gave musical items and served as choir leader

He had a substantial military background serving in medical units. His military service reflected in his punctuality and frustration when it was not achieved.

He enjoyed having several pets despite living in a small unit.

He took an interest in, and related well with, youth.

Although he had health issues Ken's passing was sudden and came as a surprise even to those in regular contact with him.
